Are you a Web Developer looking for a new opportunity at an exciting new start-up?

We’re looking to grow our Product and Technology team by bringing on some of the best and brightest developers to help us expand our software propositions. You’ll be coming into a great team with lots of well-established architecture to pick up and make your own. Aside from writing beautiful code, we value good communication and a strong initiative, amongst other things.

As a Web Developer at Haysto your focus will be on delivering new features for our website, customer portal and future web applications. You’ll be heavily involved in the end-to-end development process, working closely with our Lead Developer to scope, design and deploy innovative new features. You’ll be attentive with a keen eye for detail and delivering clean, scalable code.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist our Lead Developer to build scalable software systems

  • Take a leading role in sprints to find efficient solutions to complex requirements

  • Take ownership of and architect our company website

  • Build features into our front-end products

  • Communicate your ideas, engage with different teams and encourage collaboration

Desirable attributes

This is a mid-level position for someone with 2+ Years’ experience

Have experience developing scalable, distributed web applications, using some or all of the following:

  • Experience working with Statamic CMS (V2/3)

  • Strong frontend skills - HTML, SCSS/CSS, JS (ES6) and be comfortable with both mobile first / responsive build approaches

  • Experience programming in Vue JS & Vuex

  • Have experience configuring and using dependency managers such as NPM / Yarn

  • Some PHP experience 1-2 years

  • Good understanding and experience of using Git
